SIMSAN is an engineering company first. Engineering defines what a plant actually needs, and that definition is what makes the equipment we supply and the systems we integrate fit the process.

How a measurement becomes a control action

Instrumentation and control is one continuous chain. A process variable is sensed, converted, transmitted, compared against a target, acted on by a valve, and recorded.

Sense

A sensor in contact with the process responds to pressure, temperature, flow, level or composition.

Transmit

A transmitter converts that response into a 4 to 20 mA or HART signal for the control system.

Compare

A controller compares the measured value against the setpoint and calculates the correction the process needs.

Act

The output drives a positioner and valve, a drive, or an on/off device that changes the process.

Record

SCADA and recorders log the loop so operators can see, prove and improve plant performance.

Why SIMSAN

An instrument datasheet, a marked-up loop drawing and a set of calipers laid out on a desk beside a pressure transmitter.

Engineering before equipment

The requirement is defined before anything is bought. That is what stops a supply project becoming an expensive collection of individually correct devices.

Crated and shrink-wrapped flanged valves on pallets in an equipment store, boxed instruments on racking behind and a marked-up drawing on the pallet beside them.

A supply chain you can check

Original, brand-new equipment from a vetted database of manufacturers and suppliers, held as new stock. That is how fake product is kept out.

Delivery is not the end

Manufacturer guarantee and warranty pass to the customer on the manufacturer's own terms, with installation, commissioning, start-up and training where the project needs them.
